Hard times ...
I have been going to ecstatic dances since 2019, and this practice has given me so much joy, expansion and community!
This naturally led to me becoming a Certified Dance Temple ecstatic dance DJ in 2024. Now I get to share the medicine that has aided in my own transformation.
I facilitate and DJ at ecstatic dances, retreats, and festivals, preferably among the trees! And I often combine it with breathwork facilitation.
I defy convention as a DJ, a reflection of my eclectic nature.
I incorporate a diverse range of genres and energy levels, through unpredictable twists and turns, capturing the ineffably vast spectrum of life in one set – from grounding to ethereal, light to dark, expansive to integrative.

Ecstatic Dance Toronto
"Andrew ecstatic dance journey was so rich and layered, inviting me into connection with myself, moving seamlessly through genres, cultures and emotions.
There were moments where I felt truly transported to the heart of the forest, and others that could have been a night club in my early 20s.
I closed the space feeling lighter, warmer and more connected to the community around me. So grateful to have had the opportunity to exist in that energy!"

What is ecstatic dance?
A space to explore your embodied, authentic movement.
Three foundational guidelines create a container for authenticity: sober, silent (no talking on the dance floor) and consent-based interaction (must receive consent before dancing with others). These and other guidelines, such as no cellphone cameras & opening/closing circles, create a sacred safer space for dancers to express themselves more freely and intuitively.
Dance Temple is the name of an ecstatic dance as well as a thriving community of facilitators in various communities spread across the west coast of British Columbia.
